Michael Beckett - Managing Director:
Motivated by a deep commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, Michael established Ecovolt Renewables in 2022. Equipped with an MSc in Sustainability in Energy Provision and Demand Management, Michael applies his expertise to advance renewable energy systems. Michael is a founding member of the community energy group Energise South Downs. Off the job, Michael enjoys adventure and the great outdoors
Katherine Beckett - Finance Director:
Katherine has a passion for finance and organisation; keeping our team seamlessly on track. When she's not orchestrating the office, she delights in leisurely dog walks and finds joy in the beauty of nature. Her nurturing spirit and infectious laughter make her an invaluable asset to our dynamic team.
Fraser Cameron - Operations Manager
Fraser leads operations at Ecovolt Renewables managing the projects and office. His experience in leadership, problem-solving, and organisation ensures Ecovolt Renewables can deliver effective installation every time.
Fred McGaig – Business Advisor
Fred McCaig works as a business advisor for Ecovolt Renewables supporting the team in building good practices into the business and creating a stable platform for its growth. Fred lives in Petersfield and runs his business support service, EnablesWorks Services Ltd, which provides support to SME and community organisations. He is also a Trustee for PeCAN working to support a local charity engage with local businesses to recognise what steps can be taken to operate sustainably, reduce carbon emissions and support the natural environment.
Iain Beaton - Installation Electrician
Iain is a highly skilled technician whose hands-on experience and technical expertise allow him to approach challenges with confidence and precision. Iain plays a key role in maintaining the quality and consistency that defines Ecovolt Renewables.
Noah Rigby - Apprentice Installer
Noah represents the next generation of talent at Ecovolt Renewables. As an apprentice, Noah is working towards his AM2 qualification that sets out a pathway for progression as an electrician. His fresh perspective and proactive mindset make him a valued member of the team.
Sean Woods – Solar Installer and Electrician
Sean is a valued member of the team and is an experienced Solar Installer. In his spare time, he is a keen fisherman and enjoys spending time in the countryside with his dogs.
Ian Coombes – Solar Installer
Ian is a highly experienced Solar Installer and a true all-rounder with a wealth of practical knowledge. Outside of work, he is a keen ultra-runner and motorcyclist.
Supporting the community
Michael is a founding member of the community energy group Energise South Downs and acts as an adviser. He is also responsible for a separate initiative to buy and operate thermal imaging equipment for surveying houses to expose building heat loss. This provides an opportunity to reduce heat losses and reduce energy bills while cutting emissions.
