Michael Beckett is an Electro-Mechanical Engineer with 30 years of experience in the marine industry. Driven by a passion for sustainability and energy efficiency, Michael founded Ecovolt Renewables. Armed with an MSc in Sustainability in Energy Provision and Demand Management, he leverages his expertise in renewable energy systems. As a qualified electrician and solar PV installer, Michael takes great pleasure in the process of designing and installing impeccable energy solutions. Off the job, Michael likes adventure and the great outdoors.
Nick Granger: Master Electrician with over 12 years of expertise in installing countless commercial and domestic solar solutions. Nick has an outgoing and energetic personality and a meticulous eye for detail. Nick is a qualified installer of SolarEdge, GivEnergy and MyEnergi. Nick’s weekends are consumed with being a dedicated BMX dad.
Brian Long: Electrician and Solar PV installer energizing homes with a spark and passion. Brian can be found walking his Dalmatian and enjoying countryside pursuits.
Russ Fuller: Our trusted groundworker. Russ is always on-site when we need digging machinery for groundwork undertaken. Grounding expertise, on and off the field.
Katherine Beckett: Our Office Manager with a passion for organisation. Katherine keeps our team seamlessly on track. When she's not orchestrating the office, she delights in leisurely dog walks and finds joy in the beauty of nature. Her nurturing spirit and infectious laughter make her an invaluable asset to our dynamic team.
Supporting the community
Michael is a founding member of the community energy group Energise South Downs and acts as an adviser. He is also responsible for a separate initiative to buy and operate thermal imaging equipment for surveying houses to expose building heat loss. This provides an opportunity to reduce heat losses and reduce energy bills while cutting emissions.
